Lesson Topic: Newtons Laws of Motion
Lesson Target:Construct an explanation of how balanced and unbalanced forces affect the motion of an object and identify what those forces are.
Lesson Overview: Hopefully you have learned alot this week through MOSA Mack about why certain motions take place due to applied force, gravity, mass, distance, and friction.
Today you WILL NOT use MOSA MACK you will use a digital learning tool called FLIP GRID. FLIP GRID allows you to create quick response videos to focus questions your teacher would like to know
soday I would like you to respond using FLIP GRID examples in the real world where friction, applied force, mass, distance, or gravity effect motion. You can use yourself as a example. You can use objects in your home to demonstrate for example rubbing an object over carpet verses a smooth surface to explain friction and motion. The possibilities are endless.
Lesson Instructions
1. Click on the Green button to be taken to FLIP GRID (this takes you directly to my page) Enter the password SCIENCE 1(Dont worry about the world seeing your video no one can see it but me)
2. Download the app if instructed to do so. You will have to use Flip Grid in the Future so go ahead and download it
3. Click on the green plus sign to create your video. You can use hashtags, take selfies, use animation in your video so be creative, AGAIN if you wish not to show your face draw a picture or have someone else demonstrate just talk over the video and explain.
4. All video responses are due by Sunday at 11:59 p.m. on March 29th. Prizes can be a shared door dash or grub hub
5. You will have to do investigations/experiments for MOSA MACK next week using materials at home so try to locate at least 3 round object of varying sizes ( marble, basket ball, baseball, tennis ball) as you will have to complete 3 investigations with them and upload your work via word, video, powerpoint etc into MOSA MACK. You will have a full week to do your investigation
