Lesson Overview: Today you will continue Mosa Mack but start on Step 2: The Make In Step 2 you will be learning information about what made motion and things were happen the way they did in the grocery store. What was necessary for applied force, gravity, and friction
This Weeks Lesson Topic: Newtons Laws of Motion
Lesson Target: Construct an explanation of how balanced and unbalanced forces affect the motion of an object and identify what those forces are.
This week you will learn about Newtons 3 laws of Motion. You will use a website called MOSAMACK to complete the activities to learn the principles and laws of why objects move. We will use this website for this week and next week.
All of your answers will be completed in the actual website and I will be able to see your responses
Lesson Instructions:
1. Click on the green button to go directly to Mosa Mack. You should click on student login and enter the email you created. If you did not make an account read yesterdays instructions to do so.
2. Locate step 2 on the Left Side of your screen and click on The Make. You will only be completing the Powerpoint located above the presentation and the Exit Ticket (Step 1- Presentation, Step 2- Exit Ticket)
3. Click on the Orange button to open the Note taking Graphic organizer that goes with the PowerPoint
4. Use the Power point to answer and explain why certain motions occurred in the Grocery Store. Type responses on Graphic Organizer. You can re watch the animation if you need to.
5. Email me your Notetaking Graphic Organzier at [email protected]
6. You will have to create a 2:30 response video in a creative way on FlipGrid tomorrow demonstrating one of the examples of motion(applied force, friction, gravity or how mass and distance cause motion) I will be able to see your video not the whole world. Watch my instructions for the video by clicking on the Green Button. Password : SCIENCE1 You may be asked download an app please do so as we will use Flip Grid again.
6. Tonight think of how you would like to explain your video for tomorrow. you will not have to put your face on camera. You can draw a picture and talk over the picture or you can have someone demonstrate and you explain. Your choice. Your video will be due by Sunday at 11:59 p.m.
